a LAN Party?
A: LAN is short for Local Area Network, which is a network of computers
and/or gaming consoles connected together to allow for play between
devices. A party is a get together between a multitude of
individuals all seeking cheap fun.
Q: Does it cost anything to attend?
A: It all depends on the event. Sometimes it is a pay per person
event, sometimes its free to attend. Details are released prior to
the event date.
Q:
What do I need to bring?
A: You need to bring anything you
would normally use to play games on your computer or other console.
These things include but are not limited to:
- Console(s)
- PC
- Xbox 360
- Playstation 2/3 (Depending on what games we are playing)
- One (1) Power Strip
- One (1) Power Extension Cord
- Network Cable
- Game(s)
- Headphones for PC Gaming - No Speakers Please!
Q: Will there be
food or drinks available?
A: It all depends on the event. more often than not we purchase
pizza and drink and some of your entry fee is allotted to this, other
times we allow you to bring your own. Details are released prior
to the event date.
